9/30 Homework


LA: R/R for Book-It! The reading logs are due tomorrow for a Pizza Hut coupon.

Apple Festival

Our Third Grade Apple Festival is Thursday! Remember your two (2) specific apples. All parents are welcome to join the fun. It starts at 8:45 and ends at 10:15. The students will rotate from station to station. We have an Apple Snack Shack, Fun Foam Fun and Apple Printing crafts, Apple Taste Testing, Apple Stoytelling and Tall Tale Trivia.

The 3rd Grade Apple Festival is on Thursday, October 1st from 8:45 to 10:15. All are welcome!
Each student was given a green notice with two specific apples to bring in for our taste test. They can be brought in on Thursday. Thanks for all the parents who have offered help, supplies and food. WANTED: anyone with an apple slicer(hand held)that we may borrow!

LA: R/R for Book-It! Read anything for 15 mins.
Finish Tic Tac Toe spelling OR the Challenge packet.

MATH: H.L. 1.7 Hint: to find the difference SUBTRACT!

9/15 Homework

We now have three caterpillars in a chrysalis and one more to go. We even witnessed the "pupa dance" today! We are counting the days for our butterflies to emerge and head to Mexico!

9/14 Homework


LA: The students came home today with different spelling homework. Some have a Challenge List because they earned 100% on the pretest. Follow the directions attached. Others have football words and a Tic Tac Toe board. The Tic Tac Toe board and assignments must be completed by Thursday. I will explain more at Back to School Night.

Announcements:

Fundraisers went home with the youngest sibling today. They are due by Oct. 1st.
Back To School Night is at 6:00 tomorrow night. No children, please.
Book Fair for 3P is on Wednesday.

Friday Folders

One week down...
The students went home on Friday with a file folder filled with papers from the week. Sign and return only the folder on Tuesday. Please keep the papers at home. The Family Times has the spelling words and flashcards for the upcoming story. Cut the flashcards out and store them in your shoebox. Practice them each night. The Family Times and spelling words are on the bottom of my "blog", too.
