Take Your Child to Work/PARCC

Wow, it sounds like the kids who participated learned a lot!  We had fun hearing about their day.

Next week for PARCC- the kids are ready!  Please review the PARCC Pointers I mentioned on an earlier blog.  The gum must be MINT and will only be allowed during the testing period.  Dress comfortably, but keep in mind the room is chilly.  Bring a book to read if you finish a section early!

We will be testing in the afternoon 12-2:45.  Our lunch will be earlier(11:15), but they can still bring a snack.  We still have specials, so wear sneakers for PE and Family Life (due to testing)days.
We will also continue our novel study of Charlotte's Web  and math review so don't expect homework next week.

Students who opted out, you will be working on your bird research in another room while we are testing.

PARCC POINTERS

Preparing for PARCC next week: M-F 5/2-5/6
