As you begin to SPRING CLEAN don't forget about the Girl Scout T-Shirt project and the Archery team doing a clothing drive.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
GIRL SCOUT PROJECT: calling all homeroom!
The local girl scouts are collecting unwanted t-shirts for a silver award. They are looking to reuse the unwanted t-shirts for a service project. What a great way to help our environment! They are turning the unwanted t-shirts into multi purpose bags (grocery bags). These recycled bags will help save 24 trees that would otherwise be turned into paper shopping bags!
They suggest the t-shirts be in good condition( no rips, stains or holes) and adult med. or larger works best.
An ice-cream party goes to the homeroom that helps these girls reach their goal. Let's help our environment and the girls, too!

Spelling: Write 6 great sentences for your 12 writing words.
Spelling: Create a story about a robot using your spelling words in your notebook. Get creative! Be sure to show NOT tell. Work on your story a little each night. It is due on Friday. Be ready to share it with the class.
MATH: change the IMPROPER fractions into MIXED NUMBERS.
Reminders:
Twin Day tomorrow!

We have bath markers, the color dome, cookie kit and a wipe board so far...
