A step back in time

On Thursday, November 17th the third graders will experience school life just as the colonial children did before them.

He is a CHAMPION

Congratulations to our classmate, Devin. He and his team, the Washington Redskins, had an undefeated season and took home the championship trophy from the PeeWee Tournament. Go, Fight, WIN! We got the chance to celebrate with the trophy just like the Stanley Cup in hockey! Thanks Devin.

Field Trip

It's finally here! Don't forget to wear your colonial costume to school. Pack a lunch in your basket and bring some $ for the general store. We will leave by 9:00 and arrive back around 2:00. You don't have to bring your back pack. Bring your homework on Friday. We will still have Friday testing on Friday.

Our Quiet Valley trip is Thursday, Nov. 19th. Get your bonnets and breeches ready!
You will also need to pack a "brown paper bag" lunch and put it in a sack, satchel or basket. A pillow and a rope works great.

Enjoy the Long Weekend

The colonial toy/game project has been sent home. The project is due on Monday, November 16th. The students surfed the net on Wednesday and we brainstormed ideas. They know they need your approval first. Let me know what you come up with ASAP. This project has been a success in the past. We've enjoyed playing with these simple toys. Have fun and be creative.
