Friday Folders

In our Friday folders I put in our Tall Tales we have been working on for two weeks.  The students were graded on their learned knowledge of tall tales and the elements that make a tall tale a tall tale:  EXAGGERATION, LARGER THAN LIFE CHARACTERS  and PROBLEMS SOLVED IN FUNNY WAYS.  Enjoy reading them and sign and return them on Monday so we can keep them in our writing portfolio.
We also took our unit 1 math concepts and skills test.  On page 4 I have a break down of skills that were mastered (E), satisfactory (S) and those that we will continue to work on (W).  Again look the test over and sign and return it so I can continue to reinforce each student's weaknesses.
Enjoy your weekend!
