dialysis. He gets 10 minutes of free treatment for every 1000 plastic
bottle caps turned in. It does not matter what type of bottle the caps
come from as long as they are plastic screw types. Please try to save
them and bring them into school.
PLEASE, PLEASE SAVE ALL PLASTIC BOTTLE CAPS.
I will put a bin or basket in the cafeteria to collect more bottle caps during lunch and snack.

9/10 Homework


LA and MATH: Sign and return the manilla Friday Folder on Monday. Parents you may keep the papers inside. Today was our first test day. The students are just learning the procedure. Some of the grades reflected that. So don't worry. I was able to learn a lot about the students' learning styles and needs. We will make adaptations for next week. Each week we will have a spelling, grammar and reading comprehension test. We will also have a math unit test or a math box quiz. I usually put the grades into a fraction. The bottom number is the total number of questions and the top is the number the child got correct.

Fundraisers and book fair notices also went home with your youngest child at OCS.

Shippen Manor Trip


We will walk to the Oxford Furnace and Shippen Manor on Wednesday, June 16th at 8:45 and return by 12:00. We will stop at the Oxford Furnace to hear its tie to the Revolutionary War and head over to tour the Shippen Manor and learn about its owners. The students will perform Revolutionary skits on the deck and have their snack afterwards. Parents are welcome to join us. The students need to bring a snack, drink and beach towel with them on the trip.
