SOCIAL STUDIES:

Hear Ye!  Hear Ye! We will have a chapter test on the Voyage to the New World, the New World and Building a Village.  Study the words to know:  pilgrim, New World, voyage, hardtack, compact, meetinghouse, dugout, settlement, militia, town crier, village green and musket.  Reread the highlighted words on pages 7-34.  Be prepared to describe the rough voyage and why Plymouth was going to be a "good" place to settle down.    TEST: Thursday 10/28
