Friday

No TOYS in school!  Parents please help remind your child not to bring toys from home into the classroom.

Friday Folders are being sent home today:  Please make corrections and return them on Monday.
Homework Packets are also not being brought to school everyday.  This becomes a problem because some of the packet is done during class.

We have begun our research on our "Living Wax Museum".  The students should be able to tell us when and where they were born, when and where they died(if they are not still alive) and most importantly what did they do to help change America!  The tri-fold boards should be brought in by Jan. 25.  I am planning on presenting the Museum sometime in Mid-February.

Thank You

To the wonderful, generous third grade families,
Miss DeWitt and I would like to thank you for your thoughtful generous donations of hats, mittens and warm socks.  We gave them to a nearby shelter.  I am sure we made someone's day!  The students were inspired to "pay it forward" after reading Silver Packages.  Thank you again for your kind spirit!  Each pair of socks was bundled with a note and handmade candy cane!

An extra special thank-you to the families who donated craft materials for our holiday projects!
We hope you enjoyed them as much as the kids enjoyed making them.
